SEVAI
operates comprehensive development activities for
the empowerment of rural poor communities in the
areas of agriculture, education and community
awareness, housing construction, urban research
development, the promotion of income generating
activities and vocational training, health and
sanitation and community development. |

Location |

SEVAI
concentrates its efforts in 362 villages and 29
slums of Tiruchirapalli, Karur, Erode and
Nagapattinam Districts of TamilNadu. |

Achievements |
The overall achievements of
these initiatives result in improved quality of
life for the beneficiaries and their communities.
A holistic and an Actively participatory approach
is the core philosophy behind the Development
projects.
SEVAI has undertaken a
center based adult education in Kulithali Block
and implemented Literacy Campaign in Thogomalai
Block of Karur with the financial support of
Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. |
